When we watched the Rossini movie we learned a lot of facts.Right now I will share 5 facts about Rossini with you.

• He was a very young composer.
• Rossini wrote The Barber of Sevill in eleven days.
• The first time Rossini directed The Barber of Sevill, the show was a complete disaster ,but the second time it was directed it was a success.
• A duke was in charge of the opera and paid everyone,but when the duke died, the duchess was in charge. Since the duchess was in charge,she said that the singers were going to be paid half and the dancers weren't going to be paid at all.
• At that time since they had a lot of operas, people would chase the composer if the opera was not good.When a crowd was going to congragulate Rossini on his opera, he thought he was going to be killed.

From the `Three Mo Tenors' movie I learned a lot. The kind of music that interested me most was scat. It is different every time when another person is singing it. It is fun listening to another persons' thoughts put into words. Some of the songs are funny and some of them just don't make sense. It is very funny when you hear a very smart person is singing a song that doesn't make sense.

my favorite instrument is the piano. It is challenging because of sharpsf,flats,and fingerings,but it is fun.
